Sometimes we
don't need
another course.We need space to
hear ourselves again.
They are not instructors.
They simply respond honestly.
A horse has no interest in your title, your plans or the version of yourself you rehearsed on the way here. It reads presence, tension, breath and intention — and it answers without judgement.
Nothing here is about learning horsemanship. There is no performance, no technique to master. You stand beside an animal that mirrors what is actually happening inside you, and slowly you begin to notice yourself.
A mirror, rather than a tool.

Nobody is expected to paint well.
Painting is not a skill here. It is another language — a way of processing something that words arrive at too late. The paper simply holds what the day left in you.

- 01
Intuitive painting
No composition, no correction. Colour follows what the body already knows.
- 02
Mixed media
Paper, earth, thread, pigment, found material — texture as memory.
- 03
Sketching
Loose lines drawn beside the horses, more looking than drawing.
- 04
Visual journaling
A quiet page where the weekend keeps its own record of you.
Not a timetable. A slow arc.
- 01
Arrival
Gravel underfoot, no schedule handed to you. Only tea and time.
- 02
Slowing down
The nervous system takes longer than the car did. We wait for it.
- 03
Meeting the horses
No halters, no exercises. Standing, breathing, being read.
- 04
Creative exploration
Pigment on paper while the afternoon light moves across the studio.
- 05
Reflection
A circle, or no circle. Whatever wants to be said out loud.
- 06
Shared dinner
A long table, candles, food from nearby, conversation without effort.
- 07
Morning silence
The first two hours belong to no one but you.
- 08
Final artwork
Not a masterpiece. A trace of who arrived and who is leaving.
- 09
Returning home
Quieter. Carrying something that does not need explaining.

Presence
Being fully here — the only thing the horses respond to.
Nature
Learning through slowing down, at the pace of the land.
Creative expression
Giving emotions a visual form, without judgement.
Connection
With yourself, with others, and with the horses.
Fragments of a weekend.

“I arrived exhausted.”
“I left quieter.”
“I stopped trying to control everything.”
“I remembered how it feels to create.”
